Definition
Die Arteria hepatica propria ist ein Gefäßast der Arteria hepatica communis, aus dem Truncus coeliacus.
Verlauf
Die Arteria hepatica propria verläuft im Ligamentum hepatoduodenale und entlässt in ihrem Anfangsbereich die Arteria gastrica dextra zur kleinen Kurvatur (Curvatura gastrica minor) des Magens. In der Leberpforte teilt sich die Arteria hepatica propria in einen Ramus dexter und einen Ramus sinister auf. Der Ramus dexter entlässt eine Arteria cystica zur Gallenblase.
