Corpus: Submandibular duct: Unterschied zwischen den Versionen

The submandibular duct is about 5 cm long and considerably thinner than the excretory duct of the [[Corpus:parotid gland|parotid gland]]. It begins widely branched in the glandular tissue and then runs rostrally in the [[Corpus:submandibular triangle|submandibular triangle]] on the inside of the [[Corpus:mandible|mandible]] in the [[Corpus:lateral sulcus of tongue|lateral sulcus of tongue]] between the [[Corpus:mylohyoid muscle|mylohyoid muscle]] and the [[Corpus: hyoglossus muscle|hyoglossus muscle]]. It is accompanied by the [[Corpus:lingual nerve|lingual nerve]] and the [[Corpus:hypoglossal nerve|hypoglossal nerve]].   

Further along, the duct is found between the [[Corpus:genioglossus muscle|genioglossus muscle]] and the [[Corpus:sublingual gland|sublingual gland]]. Finally, it opens into the [[Corpus:oral cavity|oral cavity]] via a small [[Corpus:papilla|papilla]] next to the [[Corpus:lingual frenulum|lingual frenulum]].
