Sugaya-Klassifikation

Definition

Die Sugaya-Klassifikation ist eine radiologische Klassifikation zur Beurteilung der postoperativen Heilung und Integrität der Rotatorenmanschette nach operativer Versorgung. Sie wird hauptsächlich im Rahmen der MRT-basierten Verlaufskontrolle nach arthroskopischer oder offener Rotatorenmanschettennaht eingesetzt und stellt die am häufigsten verwendete Klassifikation in diesem Kontext dar.^[1]^[2]

Typ	Befund
Typ I	normale oder suffiziente Sehnendicke im Vergleich zur gesunden Rotatorenmanschette homogenes, signalarmes (low-signal) Erscheinungsbild
Typ II	normale oder suffiziente Sehnendicke teils signalreiche Areale (partielle Hyperintensität) innerhalb der Sehne als Hinweis auf beginnende strukturelle Veränderungen
Typ III	verminderte Sehnendicke (< 50 % im Vergleich zur Norm) keine Kontinuitätsunterbrechung Hinweis auf partielle Delaminationsruptur
Typ IV	geringfügige Diskontinuität (sichtbar in 1–2 MRT-Schichten) sowohl auf obliquen koronalen als auch sagittalen Bildern nachweisbar Hinweis auf kleine transmurale Ruptur
Typ V	ausgeprägte Diskontinuität (> 2 Schichten betroffen) sowohl in obliquen koronalen als auch sagittalen MRT-Bildern sichtbar Hinweis auf mittelgroße bis große transmurale Ruptur
