Corpus: Recurrent interosseous artery
1. Definition
The recurrent interosseous artery is a retrograde branch of the posterior interosseous artery that supplies the elbow joint.
2. Anatomy
The recurrent interosseous artery ascends proximally beneath the anconeus muscle and terminates at the lateral epicondyle of the humerus. It forms anastomoses with the medial collateral artery from the deep brachial artery and the posterior ulnar recurrent artery.
