In anatomy, the term interosseous membrane refers to a fibrous layer of connective tissue that spans between two bones.
In humans, there are two main interosseous membranes:
- Interosseous membrane of the forearm: located between the radius and ulna
- Interosseous membrane of the lower leg: located between the tibia and fibula
