Corpus: Posterior ligament of fibular head

The posterior ligament of the fibular head extends from the posterior side of the fibular head to the tibia.

The posterior ligament of the fibular head consists of fibers of dense connective tissue. It is typically weaker than the anterior ligament of the fibular head.

The posterior and anterior ligaments of the fibular head reinforce the capsule of the tibiofibular joint, providing stability and support.
