Corpus: Pectoral fascia
1. Definition
The pectoralis fascia is part of the anterior chest wall fascia that covers the pectoralis major muscle.
2. Anatomy
The pectoralis fascia is attached to the sternum and the clavicle. It extends upward, merging into the superficial cervical fascia, and laterally into the axillary fascia and the deltoid fascia. Inferiorly, it connects with the fascia of the obliquus externus muscle.
