Corpus: Lateral talocalcaneal ligament
1. Definition
The lateral talocalcaneal ligament is a short ligament that is part of the ligamentous apparatus of the talotarsal joint.
2. Anatomy
The lateral talocalcaneal ligament connects the lateral surface of the talus with the lateral surface of the calcaneus below the lateral malleolus of the fibula. Its fibers run mostly parallel to the fibers of the calcaneofibular ligament.
