Corpus: Dorsal radiocarpal ligament
1. Definition
The dorsal radiocarpal ligament is a ligament in the wrist area that runs dorsally from the distal end of the radius to the proximal row of carpal bones.
2. Anatomy
The dorsal radiocarpal ligament has less strong fiber bundles than the palmar radiocarpal ligament. It extends diagonally from the end of the radius distally and medially to the dorsal surface of the scaphoid, lunate, and triquetral bones. Its fibers merge into the dorsal intercarpal ligaments.
