1. Definition
The posterior cutaneous nerve of arm is a branch of the radial nerve that provides sensory innervation to the skin on the back of the upper arm, extending to the olecranon.
2. Anatomy
The posterior cutaneous nerve of arm (Nervus cutaneus brachii dorsalis) is a small nerve branch that splits off from the radial nerve in the area of the axilla. It communicates with fibers from the intercostobrachial nerve.
