Corpus: Palmar ulnocarpal ligament

The palmar ulnocarpal ligament is a ligament in the area of the wrist.

The palmar ulnocarpal ligament is composed of three fiber bundles, which extend from the ulna and the ulnocarpal disc to the lunate, capitate, and triquetral bones. These fiber bundles are individually named based on their respective course, namely:

• Ulnolunate ligament
• Ulnotriquetral ligament
• Ulnocapitate ligament

The palmar ulnocarpal ligament, together with the ulnar collateral ligament of the wrist (ligamentum collaterale carpi ulnare), reinforces the ulnar side of the wrist.
