Corpus: Middle collateral artery
1. Definition
The middle collateral artery is a terminal branch of the deep artery of the arm (Arteria profunda brachii) that feeds the elbow joint network (Rete articulare cubiti). It travels distally through the middle head of the triceps brachii muscle and anastomoses above the olecranon with the inferior ulnar collateral artery and the recurrent interosseous artery.
