The inferolateral genicular nerve is a branch of the common fibular nerve located on the outside of the knee. It is involved in the sensory supply of the knee joint.

3. Course
The inferolateral genicular nerve runs below the lateral collateral ligament, lateral to the lateral meniscus and the tibial plateau.
