The deep external pudendal artery is a branch of the femoral artery.

The deep externa pudendal artery lies deeper than the superficial external pudendal artery. It travels medially, passing over the pectineus muscle and the adductor longus muscle, while being covered by the fascia lata. Eventually, it penetrates this fascia on the inner thigh.

In men, its branches extend to the scrotum and perineum, forming the rami scrotales anteriores, while in women, the branches reach the labia majora, forming the rami labiales anteriores.
