The posterior scrotal arteries are branches of the internal pudendal artery that supply the posterior portion of the scrotum.
Anatomy
The posterior scrotal arteries originate from the perineal artery, which is itself a branch of the internal pudendal artery. These arteries provide blood supply to the posterior part of the scrotum.
In women, the equivalent branches are referred to as the posterior labial branches.
