Corpus: Zygomaticoorbital artery
1. Definition
The zygomaticoorbital artery is an inconstant terminal branch of the superficial temporal artery.
2. Anatomy
The zygomaticoorbital artery arises from the anterior aspect of the superficial temporal artery and extends into the ocular region, where it supplies the orbicularis oculi muscle and the eyelids. It can also originate from the middle temporal artery.
