The dorsal talonavicular ligament is a broad, thin ligament that is part of the ligamentous apparatus of the talotarsal joint.
2. Anatomy
The dorsal talonavicular ligament connects the neck of the talus to the dorsal surface of the navicular bone, reinforcing the joint capsule of the ankle joint dorsally. It is covered by the tendons of the extensor muscles of the lower leg.
