Corpus: Posterior scrotal veins
1. Definition
The posterior scrotal veins are responsible for draining blood from the posterior parts of the scrotum.
2. Anatomy
The posterior scrotal veins run alongside the posterior scrotal arteries between the dartos fascia and the external spermatic fascia on the posterior side of the scrotum. These veins drain into the internal pudendal vein, which subsequently drains into the internal iliac vein.
