Corpus: Inferior medullary velum
1. Definition
The inferior medullary velum of the cerebellum forms the tent-like roof of the fourth ventricle together with the superior medullary velum.
2. Anatomy
The two parts of the medullary vela form the roof (tegmen ventriculi quarti) of the fourth ventricle. In the caudal part of this roof the tela choroidea of the fourth ventricle is situated, which contains the choroid plexus of the fourth ventricle.
