Definition
The deep palmar venous arch is a deep-lying venous arch at the base of the palm of the metacarpal bones.
Anatomy
The deep palmar venous arch receives inflow from the palmar metacarpal veins and the palmar digital veins. It anastomoses with the dorsal venous network of the hand.
The venous blood from the deep palmar venous arch flows into the ulnar veins.
