Corpus: Anteromedian medullary vein
1. Definition
The anteromedian medullary vein is a blood vessel located in the anterior median fissure of the medulla oblongata, a part of the brainstem.
2. Anatomy
The anteromedian medullary vein is a continuation of the anterior spinal vein. It drains venous blood from the ventral part of the medulla oblongata and continues upward as the anteromedian pontine vein.
