Corpus: Anterior scrotal arteries
1. Definition
The anterior scrotal arteries are branches of the deep external pudendal artery that supply the front part of the scrotum.
2. Anatomy
The deep external pudendal artery originates from the femoral artery just below the superficial inguinal ring. It travels beneath the fascia lata, piercing it as it extends towards the scrotum. As it descends, it gives rise to the anterior scrotal arteries, which run along the cremasteric fascia and supply the anterior portion of the scrotum.
