Corpus: Scaphocapitate ligament
1. Definition
The scaphocapitate ligament is a robust ligament between the capitate bone and the distal surface of the scaphoid bone. It forms the radial part of the arcuate ligament.
2. Function
Together with the scaphotrapezial ligament, the scaphocapitate ligament stabilizes the distal pole of the scaphoid bone in the proximal carpal row.
