1. Definition
The lateral nasal artery is a branch of the facial artery that runs along the lateral nasal wall.
2. Function
The lateral nasal artery supplies blood to the nostril and the bridge of the nose. It connects with the corresponding artery on the opposite side, as well as with the dorsal nasal artery from the ophthalmic artery and the infraorbital artery from the internal maxillary artery.
