Corpus: Internal acoustic pore

The porus acusticus internus is an opening on the medial surface of the petrous bone (os petrosum) that leads into the internal meatus acusticus.

The internal acoustic meatus contains the vestibulocochlear nerve, the facial nerve and the superior and inferior vestibular nerve. The labyrinthine artery and often a vascular loop of the anterior inferior cerebellar artery (AICA) also run here.
