The condylar emissary vein is an emissary vein that originates from the anterior part of the occipital venous plexus. It passes through the condylar canal.

The condylar emissary vein connects the sigmoid sinus with the external vertebral venous plexus. It serves as the upper vessel of origin for the vertebral vein.
