Corpus: Annular ligament of radius

The ligamentum anulare radii is a ring-shaped, taut ligament, cartilaginous on the inside, which extends from the incisura radialis ulnae and holds the radial head (caput radii) in position.

The ligamentum anulare radii is part of the joint capsule of the elbow joint. Together with the radial head and the incisura radialis ulnae, it forms the articulatio radioulnaris proximalis and allows rotation in the articulatio humeroradialis.
