A Pars interarticularis is a part of a bone between the upper and lower condyle of a vertebral arch.

2 Background

In the transverse plane the Pars interarticularis lies between the Pediculus arcus vertebrae and the Lamine arcus vertebrae. In the axial view there is bone mass between the parts of the joints.
