Forearm muscles

Synonym: muscles of the forearm
German: Unterarmmuskeln

1 Definition

The forearm muscles are the skeletal muscles that can be found on the forearm or at an antebrachial location, respectively. They comprise the flexors on the palmar side, as well as the extensors on the radial and dorsal side. Many of these muscles do not only move the forearm in the elbow joint and the hand in the wrist, but also the fingers.
