Definition
The scaphotrapeziotrapezoid ligament, abbreviated as STTL, is a ligament of the carpus. It connects the distal pole of the scaphoid bone to the trapezium and trapezoid bones.
Function
The scaphotrapeziotrapezoid ligament stabilizes the corresponding STT joint.
